Childfree.life celebrates the choice…
…to embrace life without having children. As a choice that is both liberating and contentious, the acceptance of diversity in societal and cultural circles has been instrumental in reducing the stigma associated with being childfree.
We all decide the level to which we want to express ourselves in society, and childfree.life is committed to providing the childfree community of the world another way to express themselves, if they so choose.
Express yourself and embrace your childfree lifestyle
Each childfree.life design incl wording has been conceived of by a human, and time has been committed to considering each effective message individually.
Maybe there’s something here that speaks at your volume?
Hold your head high and keep the expectations in their place.
We appreciate the respectful parent

What you see here
This initiative has been a few years in the making. For some time, it was a semi-conceived side project that was completely different to what you see here, but it never went past the drawing board because as usual, life and COVID got in the way and priorities were elsewhere.
Then came a shift. In mid 2022, just as we were emerging from COVID to continue on with life like it never happened, the US Supreme Court overturned the judgement in the infamous Roe v Wade case. This news made global headlines and caused a lot of distress for many people. It’s almost unthinkable that in this day and age, a person in a free country is not permitted to make their own choices for their own body and life. Now, with the gradual removal of human rights, the inequality of wealth distribution, global increases to cost of living and the impacts of overpopulation and pollution, multitudes of people around the world are actively choosing against reproducing.
The designs on this site are an effort to bring to attention how societal expectations can be perceived by childfree people whilst maintaining some light hearted elements. Nobody wants to fight here. Given we’ve just launched, costs are a bit high. The website design is a work in progress and will likely go through a couple of changes. Once there’s some traffic the idea is to broaden variety and engagement options. Linking up with likeminded people is also totally welcome! Admittedly though the social media accounts are pretty bare as this is still a side project that is managed between competing priorities (day job etc). Gotta start somewhere…
Thank you for visiting childfree.life 🙂
